House of Cards - Review

SPOILER ALERTS!

If you haven't watched the first 2 seasons of House of Cards then stop reading now!

So I am a bit of a binge watcher when it comes to TV series. I get so into it that I just watch it back to back. I watched the whole of house of cards in one weekend.

My opinion is that it's amazing! I find American politics very interesting. So when it's combined with such great characters it becomes addictive. House of cards is great in the way Kevin Spacey is yet again playing this bad guy character. But this time he has to act nice for public imagine, but in reality he is a monster. The first scene of him killing that dog was just shocking! Then most other scenes were he is manipulating everyone to get his own way.

The whole story line of the mass corruption throughout the whole government does really make you wonder is it really like this. As it gets to the end of season 2 you start to guess where it is all heading. Once he is after the Vice presidency you start to wonder how he will end up becoming president. Because as we have learnt is that the character of Francis Underwood always gets what he wants, no matter what it takes. The genius of House of Cards is how they get Francis to manipulate everyone so he becomes president but looks like he is the only good guy after destroying the image of the current president.

All I can say is that I can't wait for the end of February when season 3 will be on Netfix. It is safe to say I will be in front of the TV for a whole weekend.
